You can check your device for threats anytime from the Scan page in the Shield app.
Steps
- Open the Shield app and click Scan in the sidebar.
- For a fast check of the areas malware targets most, click Run quick scan. For a deep check of every file and process on your device, click Run full scan instead.
Guardian tip: you can also start a scan on a family member's device remotely from Devices in your dashboard.
What to expect
Shield shows its progress while it scans, then tells you what it found in plain language, like "No threats found" or a description of anything it caught and already handled. Every scan is added to your scan history, so you can look back at what ran and when.
If this didn't fix it
