A few protection features are optional and can be turned on right from the Status page in the Shield app.
What this means
Most protection runs automatically, but a few features, like scheduled full scans, are optional so you can choose how Shield fits your routine. Optional features that are off show up in amber, not red, since nothing is wrong; they're just waiting for you to switch them on.
Steps
- Open the Shield app and go to Status.
- Find the feature you want under Protection features, like Scheduled full scan.
- Click its toggle to turn it on.
What to expect
The feature switches on right away, and its icon changes from amber to green to match the rest of your active protection.
