Installing Shield on your Windows computer takes just a few minutes.
Before you start
- Make sure your computer meets the system requirements for Shield.
- Sign in to your Shield dashboard.
Steps
- Go to the Download page on the web console, and click Download for Windows.
- Open the downloaded file and click Yes if Windows asks for permission to run it. This is Shield's Downloader, and it automatically installs the rest of the app for you.
What to expect
Shield activates automatically as soon as it finishes installing. There's no sign-in step on the app itself, since your download was already set up for your account. You'll see a confirmation that your device is protected, and it now appears in your dashboard's device list.
