When you start Shield, you get 7 days of full protection for your household before you need to subscribe to anything.
What's included
Your free protection period runs on the Family Plan, so you get everything: malware and phishing protection, scam site blocking, remote access protection, the Guardian Dashboard, Guardian Alerts, and Remote Help. You can add up to 10 devices during this time, whichever plan you choose afterward.
How long it lasts
The free protection period starts the moment you create your account and lasts 7 days. You're never asked for a credit card or any other payment information to start it.
If you don't subscribe in time
Protection pauses when the free period ends. Nothing is deleted. Your devices, settings, and history are all still there, and you can turn protection back on anytime by subscribing.
Choosing your plan
