You can manage every device you protect from the Devices page in your dashboard.
Adding a device
- Go to Devices in your dashboard.
- Click Add device and give it a friendly name, like "Mom's Laptop."
- Follow the steps to install Shield on it. If you're on Family Lite or Family, you can also click Send by email to have a family member install it themselves, or Copy install link to share it yourself.
Renaming a device
- Find the device in your Devices list and open its details.
- Click Rename, enter a new name, and save.
Removing a device
- Find the device in your Devices list and open its details.
- Click Remove device and confirm.
What to expect
A renamed device shows its new name everywhere in your dashboard right away. A removed device stops being protected and disappears from your device list, freeing up a slot in your plan for another device.
